So to say we have had a big week would be an understatement with a huge Melbourne Cup day and then Origin 1 in Adelaide. We attended both apparently! So you will hopefully forgive us if this edition of the newsletter of somewhat short, sharp and shiny…..
Not cause we are feeling seedy though. We just have a golf day Friday so are pumping this out Thursday night after Oaks Day. What a week!
And the King of Spring Punters Club Cup wrapped on Melbourne Cup day with 10 teams battling it out in the Grand Final that saw DY Dreaming putting up an ROI of 847% to take it out

The Melbourne Cup carnival wraps up this Saturday with the Mackinnon Stakes the feature and we will be on No. 9 Arcadia Queen. She had bad luck in Cox Plate run and still managed to finish strongly and this will sort of makeup for it. $3.20.
And we can’t call it our best bet or value bet, but R6, No.2 Nature Strip. One of the more frustrating units getting around and has cost punters plenty, but he did win this last year and his trial during the week was properly good. Get on him at $4.00.

R3: No. 4 Morrissy – Should be leading this lot onto the straight and be hard to get past ($3.70/$1.45)
R4: No. 5 Right You Are – Back after a spell and has won first-up previously ($3.80/$1.70)
R5: No. 2 Pondus – Huge run last start at Bendigo and fitness peaking ($2.90/$1.35)
R6: No. 2 Nature Strip – Won this last year and no reason he can’t do it again ($4.00/$1.60)
R7: No. 4 Greysful Glamour – Loves the dry ground and should get a good sit up the front ($13.00/$3.90)
R8: No. 9 Arcadia Queen – Unlucky in the Cox Plate and can bounce back here ($3.20/$1.40)
R9: No. 15 Plaquette – Back after 4 weeks and extra distance is ideal ($4.60/$1.90)
